Who we are
SubClear (https://subclear.kortechx.com) is operated by KorTechX, an IT and digital services company based in Pakistan. For anything about your personal data, email hello@kortechx.com or use the contact page.
Because we are outside the UK and offer this site to people in the UK, UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) applies to us.
The tools run in your browser
The subscription checker, cooling-off calculator, tracker and game run entirely on your device. The tracker saves the subscriptions you enter in your browser's local storage. That data never reaches our servers, and clearing your browser data deletes it.
Data we collect and why

We do not sell personal data. We do not send marketing email unless you have opted in, and every such email has an unsubscribe link.
Advertising: Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other websites, and to measure them. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and others on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info or youronlinechoices.com.
- Google explains how it uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- No advertising cookie is set until you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may appear as advertisers or ad networks on this site. The cookie policy lists the cookies in use.
Analytics
We do not currently use an analytics service. If we add one, we will describe it here and it will only load after you accept it in the cookie banner.
Who we share data with
Our hosting provider (Spaceship (web hosting)), our email provider, the form service that receives review requests, and Google (for advertising). Each acts under its own terms and processes data only to provide its service to us. We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
International transfers
We are based in Pakistan, so data you send us leaves the UK. We rely on the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum for transfers to us, and our providers rely on their own approved safeguards. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, and ask for it in a portable format. Email hello@kortechx.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
